probably easiest way to farm xp for your buddy who is getting survivor...

Loving Distortion! Good find!

Amity has its downside too. If you "turn off" all of the Shiro'ken then you may die to bleeding or to them using non-attack skills (healing skills) as they mob around you.

I've found I need to leave a few rangers in the back plinking at me in order to be able to survive with Amity up. I need that energy.

That is like asking the sun not to set. It won't happen. Get in there an abuse it as much as you can before it gets hit with a nerf.

EDIT: One other thing... why do you think this would get a nerf when the troll cave is still going strong?

Thanks for posting this, it's a fun farm, although monotonous. I can see it getting nerfed very soon so let's enjoy it whilst we can.

I actually only looked at the thread after spotting the huge amount of me/mo & mo/me piling out the door (mad king george being one of them I noticed

), I knew something was going on.

A warning though, if you do a lot of runs fast you WILL trip the farming code.....as I found out. For the record, I used /resign after each run.

I'd suggest at least running up past the res point and trying to kill a few things up there every few runs, just to mix it up a bit.

I have tried it, It is less effecient at getting gold then my Ele mino farming mentioned here (more info here) and slower at gaining exp for mesmer (I think) then the echo SoJ build I use for minos. I havent tried spirit bond builds before but I think I prefer 55 breeze/ps. I understand 55 doesnt work here, if the goal is to farm Shiro'ken and not get money/exp fast, I'd say this would be ideal. I wish I knew about this last spring when I needed soul stones for some collector items.

Edit. I may as well try a bit more. I am thinking about doing profitability reaserch for various farms to determine gold/rare drops/time ratio, I am in search of THE most profitable farm that doesnt require favor (America FTL AGAIN >_< ).

That's VS minos, I should really keep exact count. After a few more runs I guess I average between 1k and 1.5k per run so the gold is decent too. I really should keep exact count of this also.

I found using Illusion of Weakness and shing jea enchanters armor helpful, the extra energy and emergency healing are useful. I wish there was a way to kill the rangers, they are annoying and debilitating shot can suck when it hits 4 times in close succession. I played with guardian a bit to prevent interrupts with mixed results. Phantasm seems to speed the deaths of the rangers when I pull the melee types close, but it's not sufficient to kill on it's own. I wonder if nightmare might work when there are enough warriors and assassins providing energy.

At any rate it's an interesting build, and another case of rangers spirits causing problems for and killing their teammates. I wonder if an eoe-esque nerf for is on the horizon for famine.

I was thinking about that too, I like to use blessed aura for 55 echo SoJ mesmer, the difference between +20% and +30% is substantial however for Spirit Bond I believe the 1.6 (+20%) gets rounded up to 2 (10 seconds total) while the 2.4 (30%) gets rounded down to 2 (still 10 seconds). PS gets a 5(4.8) second boost with 30% at 9 prot(21 seconds total), so it might be worth it.
